At Home Services

This page will be upodated regularly with latest news and requests and we are publishing a weekly newsletter containing the Collect (special prayer) and Bible readings for the week, a reflection and prayers, and seperately a form of service for use on Sunday for individuals to use. While not replacing our services, it means we will be reading and praying together. It will also contain the latest news and information about activities in the Benefice.

SPIRITUAL COMMUNION

The term ‘Spiritual Communion’ has been used historically to describe the means of grace by which a person, prevented for some serious reason from sharing in a celebration of the Eucharist, nonetheless shares in the communion of Jesus Christ. There is a simple form here, which can be used at any time.
